HHS Interagency PEPFAR working group Committee, Work group, Advisory group, or Task Force OGA, FDA, HRSA OD/DPCPSI/OAR Meeting of the HHS implementing agencies to discuss relevant PEPFAR-related updates/activities. Topics included: PEPFAR strategies, guidance for Country Operational Plans, agencies submissions of Headquarters Operational Plans activities and progress reports, annual PEPFAR meeting activities, plans and updates regarding conference and other convenings.
HHS Internal Advisory Group (HIAG) of the Children's Interagency Coordinating Council Committee, Work group, Advisory group, or Task Force ASPE, ACF, ACL, CDC, CMS, HRSA, IHS, SAMHSA NICHD, NIDA The Office of the Assistant Secretary for Planning and Evaluation (ASPE) has been tasked with setting up a new Children’s Interagency Coordinating Council (CICC). in December 2022, Congress charged HHS with chairing and establishing the CICC. Congress also indicated that the CICC should foster greater coordination and transparency on child policy across federal agencies and examine and periodically report on a broad array of cross-cutting issues affecting child well-being. HHS is forming the CICC with a structure that promotes interagency engagement at multiple levels of leadership from 10 departments and agencies (including HHS) by creating both a Leadership Team with senior appointees and a Coordinating Committee of senior career leaders from each department/agency. To support and coordinate the efforts of the HHS representatives on the CICC in these interagency discussions, the HHS Internal Advisory Group (HIAG) will inform and advise, as well as serve as a liaison between NICHD and the CICC.

HHS Liaison to NASA Other FDA NCATS As HHS Liaison to NASA, Dr. Rutter and her team at NCATS coordinate interactions and expertise sharing among components of HHS to explore joint areas of interest. In January 2021, HHS appointed staff members to centralize the partnership and ensure continuity between administrations. NCATS remains as a leader in these efforts, working alongside NASA and HHS staff to coordinate activities, such as the Tissues Chips in Space Program.
