Code Map Services for Interoperability of Common Data Models and Data Standards (CDMH III) Resource Development ASPE, FDA, ONC NCATS, NCI, OD/All of Us Code Map Services facilitate the use of open, consensus-based standards, consistent with HHS’s recognition of the need for greater interoperability of data and sharing of resources.  The goal of this project is to facilitate Common Data Model (CDM) network interoperability, thereby expanding researchers’ access to clinical data that can be used for addressing new questions across a range of populations and settings. Specific objectives of the research include developing CDM interoperability services, improving quality and efficiency of model-to-model mappings, and extending the functionality of CDMs to allow submissions of clinical trials data.
Collaborative Auditory and Vestibular Research Network (CAVRN) Committee, Work group, Advisory group, or Task Force Not Reported NIDCD The Hearing Center of Excellence (HCE) brings together researchers with auditory research foci as a forum to discuss current research efforts across the DoD and VA enterprises, providing unique opportunities for collaboration.   The CAVRN aims to foster knowledge sharing and facilitate greater communication, coordination, awareness, and transparency between community members.  The CAVRN promotes collaborations, translation, and best practices that influence auditory-vestibular readiness, care and quality of life for warfighters and veterans.
Collaborative Community on Ophthalmic Imaging (CCOI) Committee, Work group, Advisory group, or Task Force FDA NEI CCOI held its fourth international meeting in January 2024 entitled “Expanding Datasets for Digitally Enhanced Management of Eye Diseases: Patient-Generated Data, Generative AI, 4D Imaging, and other Alternate Data Streams,” the meeting gathered experts from around the world and across academia, government institutions, patient groups, and the private sector to discuss the opportunities and challenges of utilizing various datasets in AI and ophthalmic imaging for the diagnosis and treatment of eye disease, with a special emphasis on issues of AI implementation in the real world.
Collaborative on Healthy Parenting in Primary Care Public Education Campaign CDC, HRSA, SAMHSA NICHD The Collaborative on Healthy Parenting in Primary Care recognizes the accumulated evidence of the effectiveness of family-focused prevention programs that promote the physical and behavioral health and emotional well-being of children from before their birth through adolescence. Members of the Collaborative have united around an initiative to support the integration of effective programs that promote healthy parenting into primary care settings in order to achieve optimal health for children.
Collaborative Research in Computational Neuroscience (CRCNS) Research Initiative Not Reported NCCIH, NEI, NIA, NIAAA, NIBIB, NICHD, NIDA, NIDCD, NIMH, NINDS The Collaborative Research in Computational Neuroscience (CRCNS) program is an interagency funding initiative involving the National Science Foundation (NSF), National Institutes of Health (NIH), and the Department of Energy (DoE). The goal of this program is to support interdisciplinary, collaborative projects aiming to tackle innovative questions in computational neuroscience that will advance our understanding of nervous system structure and function, as well as mechanisms underlying nervous system disorders. In addition to U.S. funding agencies, CRCNS also involves the participation of foreign funding partners (France, Germany, Israel, Japan, and Spain) who provide funds to support the international component of U.S.-Foreign collaborative projects.
Collaborative Research in Computational Neuroscience (CRCNS) NSF Innovative Approaches to Science and Engineering Research on Brain Function Research Initiative Not Reported NCCIH, NICHD, NIDA, NINDS Through the CRCNS program, the U.S. National Science Foundation (NSF), National Institutes of Health (NIH), and Department of Energy (DOE); the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung, BMBF); the French National Research Agency (Agence Nationale de la Recherche, ANR); the United States-Israel Binational Science Foundation (BSF); Japan’s National Institute of Information and Communications Technology (NICT); and the Spanish State Research Agency (Agencia Estatal de Investigación, AEI) support collaborative activities spanning a broad spectrum of computational neuroscience research, as appropriate to the missions and strategic objectives of each agency. The participating funding organizations have released parallel documents with further agency-specific information, referenced in Section VIII of the solicitation. Two classes of proposals will be considered in response to the solicitation: Research Proposals describing collaborative research projects, and Data Sharing Proposals to enable sharing of data and other resources.
Combating Antibiotic Resistant Bacteria (CARB) Resource Development CDC, FDA NIAID, NLM The National Action Plan for Combating Antibiotic-Resistant Bacteria is a multi-agency initiative to address urgent and serious drug-resistant threats that affect people in the U.S. and around the world.
