Biomarkers of Exposure and Effect in Agriculture (Water Contaminants) Research Initiative CDC NCI National Cancer Institute (NCI) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the US Geological Survey (USGS) are collaborating on a study to characterize exposure to water contaminants by measuring urinary nitrate excretion, and drinking water concentrations of nitrate, pesticides, and other chemicals, as well as hormone activity among a subset of participants in the Biomarkers of Exposure and Effect in Agriculture (BEEA) study.
Biomedical Research and Development Price Index Other Not Reported OD/OER The annual change in the Biomedical Research and Development Price Index (BRDPI) indicates how much the NIH budget must change to maintain purchasing power. Biosafety and Biosecurity Innovation Initiative Working Group for the Executive Order on Strengthening the Bioeconomy Committee, Work group, Advisory group, or Task Force ASPR, CDC, FDA, ONS OD/OM, OD/OM/ORS, OD/OSP BBII-IWG is tasked with launching the Biosafety and Biosecurity Innovation Initiative which seeks to reduce biological risks associated with the Bioeconomy. BBII-IWG is tasked with writing a "plan for biosafety and biosecurity for the bioeconomy."

Blood, Organ, and Tissue Senior Executive Council (BOTSEC) Committee, Work group, Advisory group, or Task Force OASH NHLBI, NIAID The Blood, Organ, and Tissue Senior Executive Council (BOTSEC) is an advisory forum for senior leadership from the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) organizational components, as well as liaison representatives from  Department of Defense and Veterans’ Health Administration, that are involved in blood, organ, and tissue safety and availability. The HHS Assistant Secretary for Health serves as the Council Chair, and the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Health (OASH) Senior Advisor for Blood and Tissue Policy serves as the BOTSEC Executive Director.
Board of Regents of the National Library of Medicine Committee, Work group, Advisory group, or Task Force CDC NLM The NLM Board of Regents provides advice and recommendations on matters of policy concerning NLM, including on such matters as the acquisition of materials, the scope, content, and organization of services, and the rules under which NLM materials, publications, facilities, and services will be made available to various kinds of users. The Board may also make recommendations regarding research conducted at NLM, review and make recommendations about applications for grants, contracts, and cooperative agreements for support of medical library resources and systems, research in medical informatics and management of biotechnology information, training for research and the use of information management technology, biomedical publications, development and demonstration projects, educational technology, and related projects that show promise of making valuable contributions to NLM’s mission. Board of Scientific Counselors (BSC) of the CDC's National Center for Injury Prevention and Control Committee, Work group, Advisory group, or Task Force CDC, ACF, ACL, AHRQ, HRSA, IHS, SAMHSA NIA, NICHD, NIDA, NIMH The BSC advises the Secretary, Department of Health and Human Services; the Director, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC); and the Director, National Center for Injury Prevention and Control (NCIPC) regarding surveillance, basic epidemiologic research, intervention research, and implementation, dissemination, and evaluation of promising and evidence-based strategies for the prevention of injury and violence. The Board makes recommendations regarding policies, strategies, objectives, projects, and priorities, and reviews progress toward injury and violence prevention.
