FDA-NIH Tobacco Regulatory Science Workgroup Research Initiative FDA NIMH, CSR, FIC, NCI, NEI, NHGRI, NHLBI, NIAAA, NICHD, NIDA, NIDCD, NIDCR, NIEHS, NIGMS, NINDS, NINR, NLM, OD/DPCPSI/OBSSR The FDA-NIH Tobacco Regulatory Science Workgroup is comprised of NIH staff and staff from FDA Center for Tobacco Products. The purpose of the group is to leverage the research experience and capability of NIH to maximize the opportunity available in authorities given in the Family Smoking Prevention and Tobacco Control Act to reduce tobacco related morbidity and mortality.

Federal Dietary Reference Intakes Steering Committee Committee, Work group, Advisory group, or Task Force AHRQ, CDC, FDA, OS NIDDK This committee serves as an interagency forum to provide oversight on the process used to establish the Dietary Reference Intakes. These values serve as a basis for many federal nutrition programs and policies.
Federal Education and Training Interdisciplinary Group (FETIG) National Center for Disaster Medicine and Public Health Committee, Work group, Advisory group, or Task Force CDC NICHD The Federal Education and Training Interagency Group for Public Health and Medical Disaster Preparedness and Response (FETIG) committee provides oversight and guidance to the National Center for Disaster Medicine and Public Health which is a center of the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences-the Nation’s only federal sciences university.
Federal HIV/AIDS Web Council (AIDS.gov) Resource Development CDC, CMS, FDA, HRSA, IHS, OS, SAMHSA OD/DPCPSI/OAR, NCI, NIAID, NIDA, NLM AIDS.gov expands visibility of timely and relevant Federal HIV policies, programs, and resources to the American public. Increase use of new media tools by government, minority, and other community partners to extend the reach of HIV programs to communities at greatest risk. Increase knowledge about HIV and access to HIV services for people most at-risk for, or living with, HIV.
Federal Interagency Forum on Aging Related Statistics Resource Development ACL, AHRQ, CDC, CMS, OS, SAMHSA NIA This Interagency Forum was formed with the goal of bringing together Federal agencies that share a common interest in improving aging-related data. The specific goals of the Forum are to improve both the quality and use of data on the aging population.
Federal Interagency Health Equity Team (FIHET) Committee, Work group, Advisory group, or Task Force ACF, ACL, AHRQ, CDC, CMS, FDA, HRSA, IHS, OS, OSG, SAMHSA NIMHD, NCATS, NCI, NHLBI, NIA, NIAAA, NIAID, NICHD, NIDA, NIDCR, NIDDK, NIEHS, NIMH, NINR, OD/DPCPSI/ODP Federal leadership for the National Partnership for Action to End Health Disparities (NPA) is provided by the Federal Interagency Health Equity Team (FIHET). The FIHET was established to foster communications and activities of the NPA within federal agencies and their partners; and to increase the efficiencies and effectiveness of related policies and programs at the national, state, tribal, and local levels. NIMHD staff serves on the FIHET including two subgroups, Health-In-All Policies working group, and the Data, Research, and Evaluation Subcommittee.
