Interagency Council on Biomedical Imaging in Oncology (ICBIO) Meeting/ Workshop AHRQ, CMS, FDA NCI Organized by the Cancer Imaging Program of DCTD, ICBIO is a confidential informational meeting for entities, usually small companies, planning product development in cancer. The Interagency Council on Biomedical Imaging (ICBIO) in Oncology brings together technology developers and representatives from the National Cancer Institute (NCI), Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) to expedite the process of bringing new products to market, to provide advice from a multi-agency perspective on the spectrum of scientific, regulatory, and reimbursement issues related to developing imaging devices or technology.

Interagency Group on Alzheimer''s Disease and Related Dementias for implementation of the National Alzheimer''s Project Act Committee, Work group, Advisory group, or Task Force AoA, AHRQ, CDC, CMS, FDA, HRSA NIA This interagency group was established by HHS in response to the Congressional directive to address Alzheimer''s disease. Under the National Alzheimer''s Project Act, HHS created three sub-groups on Research, Long Term Services, and Clinical Services. The Veteran''s Administration, National Science Foundation, and Department of Defense are also involved in this effort.
Interagency Health Team at the US Embassy, Kampala Committee, Work group, Advisory group, or Task Force CDC NIAID The Interagency Health Team is part of the US Mission to Uganda and composed of senior level individuals from DoD, CDC, USAID, Peace Corps and NIH. This team is chaired by the Deputy Chief of Mission and meets on a monthly basis to discuss policy level issues regarding US Government health development and research activities in Uganda. The goal of the team is to ensure that all agencies are working in a coordinated fashion in meeting the US Mission to Uganda’s strategic goals, one of which is improving health.
Interagency Midazolam Product Coordination Team Committee, Work group, Advisory group, or Task Force FDA, OS NINDS, NIAID HHS led effort to facilitate activities, both research and regulatory, related to the FDA approval midazolam for use in treating nerve agent exposure.
Interagency Modeling and Analysis Group Committee, Work group, Advisory group, or Task Force FDA NIBIB, CSR, FIC, NCI, NCATS, NHGRI, NHLBI, NIA, NIAID, NIAMS, NICHD, NIDA, NIDCD, NIDDK, NIEHS, NIGMS, NIMH, NINDS, NLM, OD The Interagency Modeling and Analysis Group (IMAG) is comprised of program directors from nine government agencies in the U.S. and Canada, including the National Institutes of Health (NIH), the National Science Foundation (NSF), Department of Energy (DOE), Department of Defense (DOD), the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), the Canadian federal research network for Mathematics of Information Technology and Complex Systems (MITACS), the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), the United States Department of Veterans Administration (USDVA), and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). The purpose of IMAG is to bring together program officers who have a shared interest in supporting modeling and analysis methods in biomedical, biological and behavioral systems. IMAG has promoted and supported a wide variety of modeling over the past six years, notably the multi-scale modeling (MSM) initiative, which was originally a multi-agency FOA and continued on by different IMAG agencies through separate FOAs.
Interagency Pain Research Coordinating Committee (IPRCC) Committee, Work group, Advisory group, or Task Force AHRQ, CDC, FDA NIDCR, NINDS Charge to the committee includes, 1) develop a summary of major advances in pain care research supported by Federal Agencies relevant to the diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of pain; 2) identify critical gaps and duplications in basic and clinical pain research across Federal Agencies; 3) make recommendations on how best to disseminate information on pain care; and 4) make recommendations on how to expand public-private partnerships to expand collaborative cross-cutting research
Interagency Subcommittee on Disability Statistics (ISDS) Committee, Work group, Advisory group, or Task Force ACF, AoA, AHRQ, ATSDR, CDC, CMS, FDA, HRSA, IHS, OS, OSG, SAMHSA NIDCD A Government-wide group, the Federal Interagency Subcommittee on Disability Statistics (ISDS), meets monthly to discuss the issues related to identifying people with disabilities and coordinate research in this area.
Interagency Subcommittee on Education (ISED) of the Interagency Committee on Disability Research (ICDR) Committee, Work group, Advisory group, or Task Force ACF, AHRQ, CDC, HRSA NICHD The Interagency Committee on Disability Research (ICDR) is mandated to promote interagency coordination, collaboration, and communication. It must identify, assess, and seek to coordinate all Federal programs, activities, and projects, and plans for such programs, activities, and projects with respect to the conduct of research (including assistive technology research and research that incorporates the principles of universal design) related to rehabilitation of individuals with disabilities. The committee facilitates the effective exchange of information on disability and rehabilitation research activities among its member agencies. We coordinate activities that span the areas of assistive technology and universal design; medical rehabilitation; data and statistics; employment; health disparities, and education. The Interagency Subcommittee on Education (ISED), a subcommittee of ICDR, focuses on issues related to the education of persons with disabilities by collecting input from stakeholders to inform planning; identifying emerging research areas; assessing research gaps, synergies and duplications; and making recommendations to inform the federal research agenda.
Interagency Subcommittee on Medical Rehabilitation (ISMR) Committee, Work group, Advisory group, or Task Force AoA, AHRQ, CDC NIBIB, NCI, NCATS, NEI, NHLBI, NIAMS, NICHD, NIDA, NIDCD, NIMH, NINDS, NINR The Interagency Subcommittee on Medical Rehabilitation (ISMR) is composed of representatives from federal agencies involved in disability and related research including rehabilitation research. After receiving input from targeted individuals, the Committee shall identify, assess, and seek to coordinate all Federal programs, activities, and projects, and plans for such programs, activities, and projects with respect to the conduct of research (including assistive technology research and research that incorporates the principles of universal design) related to rehabilitation of individuals with disabilities.
