White House Council on Native American Affairs (WHCNAA) Committee, Work group, Advisory group, or Task Force ACF, ACL, AHRQ, ASFR, ASPR, CDC, CMS, FDA, HRSA, IHS, IOS, OGC, SAMHSA OD/DPCPSI/THRO The White House Council on Native American Affairs (WHCNAA) has the responsibility for corrdinating acttivities and responses to issues related to Tribes and Native Americans across the federal agencies. The purpose of the WHCNAA is to improve coordination between federal agencies and tribal communities, working to meet the federal government's treaty and trust obligations to Native Americans and promote a government-to-government relationship. It aims to enhance the well-being and prosperity of Tribal nations by ensuring effective use of federal resources and promoting meaningful Tribal-Federal engagement.

White House Initiative for Hispanics Inter-agency Workgroup Committee, Work group, Advisory group, or Task Force CDC, HRSA, OASH, SAMHSA NIMHD The White House Initiative on Advancing Educational Equity, Excellence, and Economic Opportunity for Hispanics seeks to advance equity in our Nation’s schools and to promote the economic opportunity that follows it. The Initiative advances educational equity and economic opportunity for Latino and Hispanic students, families, and communities by focusing on several policy goals.
White House Initiative on Black Americans Inter-agency Workgroup Committee, Work group, Advisory group, or Task Force CDC, HRSA, OASH, SAMHSA NIMHD The White House Initiative for Black Americans Inter-agency workgroup is led by the Department of Education and supports the agency’s work in implementing the goals of the White House Initiative on Advancing Educational Equity, Excellence, and Economic Opportunity for Black Americans. The IWG is comprised of representatives from all federal agencies and meets monthly to share updates and collaborate on activities across the federal government to advance the WHI for Black Americans. The WHI for Black Americans was created to strengthen the nation by improving educational outcomes for Black Americans of all ages and to help ensure that this population would receive an education that prepares them for college and productive careers to contribute to the wellbeing of society.
White House Initiative on Historically Black Colleges and Universities Inter-agency Workgroup Committee, Work group, Advisory group, or Task Force CDC, HRSA, OASH, SAMHSA NIMHD, OD/OM/OALM The White House Initiative on HBCU Inter-agency workgroup (WHI HBCU-IWG) is led by the Department of Education and supports the agency’s work in implementing the goals of the White House Initiative on Advancing Educational Equity, Excellence, and Economic Opportunity through Historically Black Colleges and Universities. The WHI Initiative on HBCUs is dedicated to a government-wide policymaking effort to eliminate barriers HBCUs face in providing the highest-quality education to a growing number of students. The IWG is comprised of representatives from all federal agencies and meets monthly to share updates and collaborate on activities across the federal government to advance the WHI HBCU.

White House Task Force to Address Online Harassment and Abuse Committee, Work group, Advisory group, or Task Force CDC NIA, NIAAA, NICHD, NIMH, OD/DPCPSI/ORWH, OD/DPCPSI/SGMRO The Task Force is an interagency effort to address online harassment and abuse, specifically focused on technology-facilitated gender-based violence. White House Womens Health Research Initiative Research Initiative OASH CSR, NHLBI, NIA, NIAMS, NICHD, OD/DPCPSI/ORWH, OD/OER The White House Initiative on Women’s Health Research, is an effort led by First Lady Jill Biden and the White House Gender Policy Council, aims to galvanize the Federal government and the private and philanthropic sectors to spur innovation, unleash transformative investment to close research gaps, and improve women’s health. Executive Order (EO) 14120 builds upon the White House Initiative on Women’s Health Research. The EO outlines strategies to improve women’s health research by integrating women’s health across the federal research portfolio, prioritizing funding, galvanizing new research on women’s midlife health, and assessing areas needing further support.   Aligned with the EO, NIH announced the launch of a new enterprise-wide effort to fund $200 million of new, interdisciplinary women’s health research projects in Fiscal Year 2025. NIH is committed to closing gaps in women’s health research across the lifespan, including on issues that cut across the traditional mandates of the institutes and centers at NIH.

The data provided from these data calls informs Senior Leadership discussions on our progress with meaningful on-site presence.
