Ending the HIV Epidemic in the U.S. (EHE) Principal Operational Leadership Team Committee, Work group, Advisory group, or Task Force OIDP, CDC, HRSA, IHS, SAMHSA NIAID, NIMH, OD/DPCPSI/OAR This committee meets regularly with senior leadership from different agencies for critical thinking and in-depth discussions on EHE progress, and opportunities to optimize coordination for effective EHE program outcomes.
Ending the HIV Epidemic in the US administrative supplement announcement for NIH Centers for AIDS Research and NIMH AIDS Research Centers Research Initiative CDC, HRSA NIAID, NIMH, OD/DPCPSI/OAR The NIH CFAR and NIMH ARC EHE administrative supplements support implementation research by addressing the four key pillars of the EHE initiative (Diagnose, Treat, Prevent, and Respond). Specifically, the NIH will support CFAR/ARC investigators to conduct research in collaboration with local partners funded by the participating HHS agencies to support local EHE plans. CDC and HRSA provided key support in the development of the research topics.

Enhanced Federal Collaborations in Implementation Science and Research of HIV Prevention and Treatment Other CDC, HRSA NIAID, NIMH This paper describes federal collaborations that have supported this increased focus on implementation from the perspective of NIH, CDC, and HRSA, resulting in improved communication and coordination of efforts in the shaping and alignment of priorities in research and service delivery, increased implementation research conducted in real-world community and clinical settings.

Environmental Microbiome Next-Generation Sequencing Community of Interest Committee, Work group, Advisory group, or Task Force ASPR, BARDA, CDC NLM The environmental microbiome next-generation sequencing (NGS) community of interest aims to share information on NGS, with a focus on environmental biodetection for biodefense and biosurveillance. It explores novel and evolving technologies that may provide breakthroughs relevant to environmental microbiome characterization, including sampling methods, processing techniques, sequencing platforms, data analysis, AI/ML utilization, decision-making support, and review of agent-agnostic sentinel surveillance environmental biodetection capabilities.
