HHS Biosafety and Biosecurity Coordinating Committee Committee, Work group, Advisory group, or Task Force ASPR, ASPA, ASPE, CDC, FDA, HRSA, IHS, OGC, OGA, OS OD/OM, OD/OM/ORS, OD/OSP High-level and formal mechanism for coordinating and collaborating on biosafety and biosecurity issues across the Department of Health and Human Services.
HHS Border Health Intraagency Working Group Committee, Work group, Advisory group, or Task Force ACF, AHRQ, CDC, FDA, HRSA, OS NIA, NIAID, NICHD, NIDDK, NIMH, NIMHD This intra-agency workgroup allows for the exchange of information and cooperation among the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) agencies on issues related to border health. The purpose of this group is to convene HHS components that have a vested interest in US-Mexico border health issues to provide a platform for discussion, coordinate efforts, and potentially identify mutual areas of collaboration to improve the health and quality of life for border residents.
HHS Cancer Moonshot Data Strategy: CMS-NIH Data Sharing Workgroup Committee, Work group, Advisory group, or Task Force CMS, ASPE, OGC, ONC NCATS, NCCIH, NCI, NIA, NIAAA, NIDA, NIDCD, NIDDK, NIMH, NINDS CMS and NIH established a trans-agency workgroup to streamline access to linked clinical and administrative data for research purposes.
HHS Cancer Moonshot Data Strategy: Federated Data System Working Group Committee, Work group, Advisory group, or Task Force IOS, ASPE, CDC, CMS, FDA, OCIIO, ONC ARPA-H, NCATS, NCI, NHLBI  The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services released its Data Strategy, which seeks to further realize the Department’s mission by advancing its management and use of data to improve human health outcomes. It envisions data that is available, accessible, timely, equitable, meaningfully usable, and protected–and can be effectively used by HHS, its partners, and the public. In support of President Biden’s Unity Agenda, the strategy promotes greater access to data to advance cancer research and improve patient outcomes and advance the goal of the Biden Cancer Moonshot to cut the cancer death rate in half over the next 25 years on our way to ending cancer as we know it. The strategy contains 5 priorities for improving data infrastructure and capabilities department-wide, and a series of near-term initiatives for each. This WG focuses on federal data systems.
