Oral Health in America: Advances and Challenges Resource Development OASH, FDA, CMS, CDC, HRSA, IHS, SAMHSA NIDCR, NIAID, NIAAA, NIDA, NCATS This report was a federally supported, multi-agency public-private-partner effort to examine the nation's oral health, highlighting advances and challenges, over the 20 years since the publication of the first U.S. Surgeon General's Report on oral health, published in 2000. The report continues to be disseminated and serves as a call to action for coordinated efforts among engaged communities including clinicians, scientists, professional and patient organizations, and local, state, and federal government agencies.

P63, P13K and RAS oncogenes in tumorigenesis, immune deregulation and therapy of squamous cell carcinoma Research Initiative FDA NIDCD At the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Dr. Weinberg is transducing murine keratinocytes with combinations of oncogenes found in human squamous cell carcinomas to determine if they generate transformation and tumors in laboratory conditions. Dr. Van Waes’ laboratory at the National Institute on Deafness and Other Communication Disorders (NIDCD) will study how these oncogene-driven tumors in mice deregulate keratinocytes and host immune responses, as well as response to various standard, molecular, and immune therapies.

The goal is to provide access to measures across biopsychosocial pain domains to facilitate discussions between clinicians and patients to develop a treatment plan and monitor progress. The website lists and describes validated, commonly used measures across pain domains and collections of additional measures.
