The directory is maintained in an online database accessible to the public from the NIDCD website. The NIDCD pays to maintain the directory, however several U.S. Department of Health and Human Services agencies are featured in it.

National Kidney Disease Education Program Public Education Campaign AHRQ, CDC, CMS, FDA, HRSA, IHS, OS NIDDK, NHLBI The National Kidney Disease Education Program (NKDEP) is an initiative of the National Institutes of Health, designed to reduce the morbidity and mortality caused by kidney disease and its complications. NKDEP aims to improve early detection of chronic kidney disease (CKD), facilitate identification of patients at greatest risk for progression to kidney failure, promote evidence-based interventions to slow progression of CKD, and support the coordination of Federal responses to CKD.

National Partnership for Action to End Health Disparities (NPA): Federal Interagency Health Equity Team (FIHET) Committee, Work group, Advisory group, or Task Force ACF, ACL, AHRQ, CDC, CMS, FDA, HRSA, IHS, OS, OSG, SAMHSA NIMH, NCATS, NCI, NHLBI, NIA, NIAAA, NIAID, NICHD, NIDA, NIDCR, NIDDK, NIEHS, NIMHD, NINR, OD/DPCPSI/ODP Federal leadership for the National Partnership for Action to End Health Disparities (NPA) is provided by the Federal Interagency Health Equity Team (FIHET). The FIHET was established to foster communications and activities of the NPA within federal agencies and their partners; and to increase the efficiencies and effectiveness of related policies and programs at the national, state, tribal, and local levels. NIMH staff serve on the FIHET, including co-chairing the Leadership Subcommittee and participating on the Data, Research, and Evaluation Subcommittee. NICHD team members serve on various committees to provide input/recommendations on maternal and child health equity.
National Program to Reduce Cardiovascular Risk (NPRCR) Coordinating Committee Committee, Work group, Advisory group, or Task Force AHRQ, CDC, CMS, FDA, HRSA, IHS NHLBI The National Program to Reduce Cardiovascular Risk (NPRCR) Coordinating Committee is the leadership body for the broader NPRCR. The Committee seeks to reduce risk of cardiovascular disease through a national effort to implement evidence-based clinical practice guidelines and interventions to control cardiovascular risk factors (including high blood pressure, high blood cholesterol, and overweight/obesity) in clinical practice settings. Coordinating Committee members engage their respective organizations in program activities.

National Research Action Plan (NRAP) Research Initiative CDC NIDA, NIAAA, NIMH, NINDS This Executive Order directed the Department of Defense, Veterans Affairs, Health and Human Services, and Department of Education to develop a National Research Action Plan on post-traumatic stress disorder, other mental health conditions and traumatic brain injury to improve the coordination of agency research into these conditions and reduce the number of affected men and women through better prevention, diagnosis and treatment.
