This is an expert public-private panel that provides guidance concerning the content and presentation of the related but distinct AHRQ resources, the National Guidelines Clearinghouse, and the National Quality Measures Clearinghouse. The Board also serves as a resource for feedback and guidance on developments in health care that inform future work. NLM is a member of this editorial board.
AHRQ Patient Safety Workgroup Committee, Work group, Advisory group, or Task Force AHRQ NLM AHRQ Patient Safety Network (PSNet) is a national web-based resource featuring the latest news and essential resources on patient safety. The AHRQ Patient Safety Workgroup is an expert public-private panel that provides guidance to AHRQ concerning implementation of legislation related to patient safety reporting and monitoring, including the “AHRQ Patient Safety Common Formats” for reporting patient safety events. NLM serves on this workgroup.
AHRQ Registry of Patient Registries (RoPR) Resource Development AHRQ NLM The Registry of Patient Registries (RoPR) is a database of registry-specific information intended to promote collaboration, reduce redundancy, and improve transparency. ClinicalTrials.gov worked with RoPR to implement a mechanism for patient registries to be registered in ClinicalTrials.gov and additional information provided directly at RoPR.

Alaska Native Tumor Registry Resource Development CDC, IHS NCI In collaboration with CDC, IHS, and NCI, and with technical assistance from the Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results Program (SEER), the Alaska Native Tumor Registry collects information on cancer cases among Alaskan Native populations residing in Alaska.
Alcohol Clinical Trial Initiative (ACTIVE) Committee, Work group, Advisory group, or Task Force FDA NIAAA, NIDA A workgroup was formed under the auspices of the American College of Neuropsychopharmacology, known as the ACTIVE (Alcohol Clinical Trials Initiative) group, to evaluate data from completed clinical trials to develop a consensus on key issues in the conduct of clinical trials in alcohol dependence. ACTIVE consists of academic experts, industry representatives, and staff from the Food and Drug Administration, the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism, and the National Institute on Drug Abuse.

Alzheimer''s Disease Neuroimaging Initiative (ADNI) Research Initiative FDA NIA, NIBIB The Alzheimer’s Disease Neuroimaging Initiative (ADNI) unites researchers with study data as they work to define the progression of Alzheimer’s disease. ADNI researchers collect, validate and utilize data such as MRI and PET images, genetics, cognitive tests, CSF and blood biomarkers as predictors for the disease. Data from the North American ADNI’s study participants, including Alzheimer’s disease patients, mild cognitive impairment subjects and elderly controls, are available on a website run by NLM.

American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) Committee on Drugs Committee, Work group, Advisory group, or Task Force FDA NICHD The AAP Committee on Drugs reviews all aspects of pediatric pharmacology, including drug indications, contraindications, absorption rates, routes of administration, dosing, use precautions, and mode of action as they apply to children. The Committee also advises the Board of Directors in matters related to drug labeling, safety and efficacy for both prescription and over-the-counter drugs; monitors federal legislation related to the drug approval process; and promotes the need for expanded pediatric drug trials.
