Purpose (e.g., abstract): The charge of the Commission was to engage broadly to identify scientific gaps, assess the clinical and economic burdens of lymphatic diseases, and recommend actions that can accelerate discovery and improve care for patients. To execute on this charge, the NCLD served as a public forum through 2024 and 2025 to gather input from diverse stakeholders, identify gaps and opportunities in lymphatic science, and address clinical, policy, and educational barriers to improving prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of lymphatic diseases.
