Responsibilities and Activities
Ms. Levin serves a Public Health Analyst. In this role she is responsible for collaborating with NIH and inter-agency groups to prioritize nutrition research, she serves as a coordinator for nutrition-related thematic working groups (TWGs) and manages multiple working groups and committees across agencies. She provides technical support and subject matter expertise to ONR-led programs.
Biography
Prior to this role, Ms. Levin served as a Nutrition Policy Fellow at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, within the Office of Disease Prevention and Health Promotion. With a strong background in clinical nutrition, Ms. Levin has worked in private practice, specializing in eating disorders, and completed a nutrition fellowship in the Neonatal ICU at the Baylor College of Medicine. She finished her Dietetic Internship and earned a Master of Public Health from the University of Texas School of Public Health (UTHealth), where her academic focus and research centered around culinary medicine, state health policy and increasing nutrition education across various settings.
