Samantha Adas, M.S., R.D.N.

Responsibilities and Activities

Samantha Adas provides essential scientific program support for the Nutrition for Precision Health, powered by the All of Us Research Program. Ms. Adas is responsible for monitoring the internal coordination of the consortium and has helped lead the consortium since its inception. Additionally, as a member of the Office of Nutrition Research, she co-leads the coordination of the Dietary Guidelines Advisory Committee (DGAC) peer review process and serves on the Joint U.S.-Canada Dietary Reference Intakes (DRI) Working Group.

Biography

Ms. Adas joined the NIH Office of Nutrition Research (ONR) in July 2020. Prior to joining the NIH, she worked at a private practice providing nutrition counseling. Samantha completed her dietitian internship at University of Maryland and has been a registered dietitian since 2019. She holds an M.S. and B.S. degree in Human Nutrition, Foods, and Exercise from Virginia Tech. In her free time, Samantha enjoys reading, traveling, running, and baking.
