Implementation Working Groups
Implementation Working Groups will assist the Office of Nutrition Research (ONR) and National Institutes of Health (NIH) in implementing the Strategic Plan for NIH Nutrition Research. The topics and number of groups may change over time. Presently, the Implementation Working Groups are organized around the following topic areas:
- Approaches, Methods, and Tools for Dietary Intake Assessment
- Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility (DEIA) in the Nutrition Workforce
- Foundational Nutrition Science
- Implementation of Nutrition-related Programs, Practices, and Behaviors

- Microbiome, Diet and Health Interrelationships
- Nutrition Across the Lifespan
- Nutrition and Health Disparities
